A Day in the Life of a Student Blogger & Content Creator (Who’s Been a Bit Lazy Lately)
Not every day is a content-creating frenzy—some days, life takes over, and that’s okay. Today was one of those days where I was more of a participant than a creator, and honestly, I didn’t mind.
* Morning: Spirit Over Screens – I woke up feeling pumped but slightly under the weather. Still, I made it to a church retreat for choristers—a much-needed spiritual recharge. No brainstorming, no content planning, just me being present in the moment.
*Afternoon: Performing, Not Posting – Right after the retreat, I had an event to attend, and this time, I wasn’t behind the scenes creating—I was on stage. Alongside my friend Hannah, we performed a spoken word poetry piece. It felt good to just express without thinking about captions, edits, or engagement.
* Evening: Maybe I’ll Create, Maybe I Won’t – Now, as I sit at the event, I realize I haven’t created much lately, and instead of feeling guilty, I’m just letting it be. Some days are for posting, some are for living. Hopefully, inspiration strikes later—but if not, there’s always tomorrow.
Ever had those days where content creation takes a back seat? How do you handle the guilt (if any), or do you just go with the flow? Let’s talk in the comments!
